"Initially, we didn't go with Willo and tried a different brush for my neurodivergent child, but we were still having a lot of cavities. We tried, unsuccessfully, other u-shaped toothbrushes, spin toothbrushes, and manual toothbrushes. When they came out with the ortho head, I finally bit the bullet and purchased two, one for each child. My braces kid liked it, which was good. But even better, my neurodivergent child gave it a "10 out of 10 stars"! I'm hoping that he sticks with it, and we get better news at the dentist the next check up."

Worked great, but not for us

"I needed help with my son with autism, he doesn’t like brushing his teeth. I got two size brush heads so we could both try the Willo. It was easy to set up and worked great BUT unfortunately, both me and my 9 year old had pain and bleeding gums. My gums actually got a little chewed up and bothered me for a few days afterwards. We are probably just sensitive, but our regular toothbrush bristles feel much softer than the ones on the Willo."

My kiddo loves this but

"My kiddo loves this but I have a few complaints. My son's mouth is a little on the smaller side so I had to guess on his mouth piece but it's too big. I don't want to spend more money buying another mouth piece so I'm having him use it. The other complaint is that you can't change what side the toothbrush hangs on. It would be so much better if it could be switched because this side isn't conducive to our bathroom and our kiddo in a wheelchair."
